Official exams

Omani French Centre is the only centre authorized to organize the DELF/DALF and TEF/TEFAQ exams.

DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language. DELF and DALF are composed of 6 independent diplomas that correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The French Evaluation Test (Le test d’Evaluation de Francais or TEF) is designed to measure the French language level of people who don’t speak French as a native language. It evaluates comprehension competency and oral expression in the French language. It gives quantitative and qualitative appreciations of the linguistic level of the candidates with a detailed analyse and individualized results.

The TEFAQ (Test d’Évaluation de Français adapté au Québec) is a reliable instrument for measuring your skills in oral French and is recognized by Ministère de l’Immigration et des Communautés culturelles (MICC) of Quebec.

Widely recognized test offered by the Paris Chamber of Commerce (CCIP) that will allow you to demonstrate your fluency in oral French. It is also required by the Quebec immigration. The CCIP delivers a certificate that rates the candidate’s quantitative and qualitative performance and provides an analysis of results which are valid for two years.
